Brainstorming

Yesterday I mentioned I wanted to start a blog in 2001. At that time blogs were being written by librarians and were used to compile and share interesting links.  Many blogs have moved away from the sole purpose of sharing information and have turned into daily personal essays. Enter the self-centered blog.  As a reader I began to tire of the endless monologues and began  seeking out new blogs containing fresh content and useful links to further resources.

One blog that I found last winter introduced me to the term Urban Homesteading.  http://thirtyfivebyninety.blogspot.com/

And from there I was able to find more and more information.

Here is a list of topics that interest me and I will start to focus on.  After reading this you may see why I have not chosen a particular direction yet.  This is a personal blog with no advertising, no sponsorship and no readers (yet) so I can do whatever I want for now.

Words I use frequently on Twitter:

Coffee

Friends

Kids

Tortillas

Time

Morning

Night

Topics of Interest:

Free Range Kids

Urban Chickens

Privacy/Transparency

Foodie

PuroSanAntonio

Balance

Acordions

Buddhism

Christianity

Hatch Chiles

Rooster Sauce

Urban Homesteading

Oncology Nursing

Sustainable Living

Music

And here we go!!!!! Overcoming perfectionism and fear and putting myself out there.  I hope you will read and check in.

Numero Uno

Hi! I have been wanting to blog since 2001.  I’m a Registered Nurse and mom to three. Playing around with themes at the moment.

My husband asked me what this blog was going to be about. I haven’t decided. Beauty, eh? I have a whole list of possible topics but it is my blog and I can do whatever I want. YAY!

I am not a perfectionist.

Tagline ideas: In case anybody cares.
